SAN ANTONIO, Texas, March 19 /Christian Newswire/ — Pastors across America are being called to San Antonio, TX. for the first ever Patriot Pastors National T.E.A. (Truth Exalts America) Party on July 7, 2010.

Pastor Rick Scarborough, president of Vision America, which is sponsoring the rally, explained: “Pastors are urged to come to the 7th largest city in America, on the 7th day, of the 7th month, for 7 hours of prayer, rallying and education, to be followed by 17 weeks of commitment, concluding on Election Day. Our prayerful goal is the type of revival for America described in II Chronicles 7:14.”

Scarborough added, “On July 7, in San Antonio, we will repent our sin of complicity in the moral meltdown of America, and we will call upon our gracious God to restore our nation.”

The Alamo has profound symbolism for all pastors and Christians in America, as the place where 180 courageous “Texicans” (as citizens of Texas were known at the time) made the ultimate sacrifice to overcome tyranny and gain liberty for their people. Our cause is no less crucial.

Dr. Scarborough concluded, “Our goal is to take a stand for Christ and launch an effort to call all God-fearing people in this country to seek God for national renewal and revival.”
